Paris Hilton denies pulling 'Nazi pose'
Paris Hilton has strenuously denied she was enacting a Nazi salute as she partied on a luxury yacht. A spokesman for the American heiress insisted to MailOnline that she was merely dancing and scratching her face at the same time. The 29-year-old reality star has been partying in style in St Tropez over the past few weeks, enjoying a series of champagne-fuelled nights aboard boats in VIP clubs. In the early hours of yesterday morning she was pictured wearing a military-style hat and appeared to be pointing her hand upwards in a Heil Hitler-like salute aboard a yacht. While not illegal, the pose - famously adopted by John Cleese to hilarious effect in Fawlty Towers - may be considered offensive in some quarters. But her spokesman told us: 'Paris was dancing and having fun with her arm up in the air as she always dances like that and was scratching [her] face when a photo was taken.' The statement continued: 'The hat was not a communist hat, it's a military style hat from a club. Half of her family is Jewish and many of her friends are as well.' Hilton appeared to have given up her wild ways and settled down in recent years, but the past month has told a different story. In the past week she has been pictured downing champagne, being picked up off a nightclub floor by security & giving "Nazi poses". The reality star and her sister Nicky are on a month-long summer holiday travelling round Europe with several of their friends, and the girls are currently on their third night in a row of hard partying. Paris and her entourage were back at the VIP club in Saint Tropez last night and yet again the star did her best to be the centre of attention. She accessorised the look with a bright red oversized communist-style military hat, ensuring she stood out in the heaving crowd. Luckily for her, she seemed in a better state than the night before when she was spotted looking more than a little worse for wear. Wearing a similarly risqué outfit of an extremely short tight fitting mini dress, the heiress had looked tired an sweaty as she was helped off the floor of the club by her own security. This didn't stop Paris and crew from continuing the party. The following day they still headed ashore to the Shore club at Nikki Beach where Paris was followed by her flunkies carrying bottles of Champagne and whisky. This comes a day after she reportedly spend $350,000 on champagne which she used to throw over everybody at a party at the Moorea Beach club. The Hilton sisters initially travelled to London before heading down to South Africa for the World Cup. They have also been travelling aboard a $270 million private 747 that belongs to American billionaire Sheldon Adelson, CEO of the Las Vegas Sands Corporation, complete with master bedroom, living room and even a massage room.
